This is the charming old town square in downtown Frankfurt. Here you can see reconstructed timber framed buildings (Ostzeile) mainly from the 15th and 16th century. This square is a great starting point for your tour of the city as it's usually the first port of call for visitors. Attractions to see here include, Römer – the Town Hall, Alte Nikolaikirche - a small Gothic church, and the Fountain of Justice.
