Frankfurt has so many museums on the South bank of the River Main, that they have called the area 'Museumsufer'. It has almost a museum to suit every interest. There's the German Architecture Museum, the German Film Museum, Museum of Regional Historic Art and Culture, Museum of Applied Arts, a sculpture and statue museum and an archaeological museum.

For something more extraordinary, visit the German Leather Museum (in Offenbach) and the Money Museum. But if you still haven't made your mind up on which one to visit, then we suggest you go to the Naturmuseum Senckenberg. This is a nature museum and one of the most famous museums in the city.
